Objectiu de la convocatòria
This call will support research that aims to directly connect neurodevelopmental changes to ASD-relevant circuit phenotypes in order to advance our understanding of how ASD risk genes contribute to the neurobiology of autism.
Característiques principals
  • Proposals must demonstrate strong preliminary data and relevance to ASD.
  • Encourages collaboration between developmental neurobiologists and circuit neuroscientists.
  • Funds provided for periodic meetings and open-science adherence.

    Requisits
  • Applicants and key collaborators must hold a Ph.D., M.D., or equivalent degree and have a faculty position or equivalent.
  • Open to domestic and foreign nonprofit organizations, public and private institutions.
  • Encourages diverse research teams and underrepresented groups in science.
  • Dotació
    Up to $300,000 per lab annually; maximum total annual budget of $900,000
