Objectiu de la convocatòria
The inaugural AACR Grant for Innovative Bladder Cancer Research seeks to encourage the development of novel approaches to address bladder cancer. Applications are invited from researchers currently in the field as well as investigators with experience in other areas of cancer or biomedical research who have promising ideas and approaches that can be applied to bladder cancer research.
Característiques principals
This grant will support translational and clinical projects focused on the development of novel approaches for the treatment of bladder cancer. This may involve utilizing new animal models, enhancing detection and diagnosis methods, integrating cutting-edge technologies, and advancing treatment approaches.

Requisits
Applicants must have a doctoral degree (PhD, MD, MD/PhD, DVM, DVM/PhD, or the equivalent) in a related field and not currently be a candidate for a further doctoral degree. Applicants with a DVM or are conducting research with non-human (excluding mouse) models in both bladder cancer and other fields will be given priority consideration.
At the start of the grant term on September 1, 2025, applicants must:
  • Be independent investigators and be affiliated with an academic, medical, or non-profit research institution.
    - If eligibility is based on a future position, the position must be confirmed at the time of application, and CANNOT be contingent upon receiving this grant.
    - If the future position is at a different institution than the applicant’s current institution, the applicant must contact AACR’s Research and Grants Administration Department (the AACR’s RGA) at [email protected] before submitting their application for information on additional verification materials/signatures that may be required.
  • Work at an academic, medical, or research institution anywhere in the world.
