Objectiu de la convocatòria
This fellowship supports early career scientists and clinicians by providing funding for short stays at other institutions, where they can learn specific techniques or clinical skills that are essential for advancing their diabetes research project and are not available at their home institution.

Applications must be submitted through the EFSD portal by 12:00 midday (CET) on the deadline date.
Requisits
  • Applications can be submitted by early career scientists and clinicians, defined as those up to seven years since completion of their most recent degree (PhD, MSc, or MD). Eligibility may be extended for reasons such as maternity, paternity, illness, national service, clinical training, natural disasters, or asylum, if clearly justified.
  • The time since the last degree may not exceed seven years as of 1 January in the year the fellowship is awarded. Fellows may not hold a permanent appointment.
  • The home and/or host institution must be based in Europe or a Europe-associated country; both must be non-profit, and each must be in a different country. Applicants must be employed at their home institution during the award.
  • Successful applicants must travel within nine months of receiving the award.
  • Funds cannot be used to finance part of a longer stay.
  • Awardees may not receive a second fellowship within two years of their award.
  • Applicants must be paid-up EASD members.
