Objectiu de la convocatòria
This program offers early-career clinicians in respiratory medicine the opportunity to train at a European institution outside their home country, with the aim of acquiring skills or procedures not available at their home institution.

Característiques principals
Standard: For clinicians or researchers from European centres to undertake clinical training in another European country.
Scientifically Developing Countries: For applicants based in scientifically developing countries, or in European countries with limited training opportunities, to conduct projects at a European institution outside their home country.
Joint Fellowship: For clinicians and healthcare professionals with a specific interest in rare respiratory diseases to receive clinical training at a European institution outside their home country.

Requisits
Open to applicants of all nationalities and ages, with priority given to healthcare professionals (HCPs) at an early stage of their career.
Applicants must be qualified clinicians or healthcare professionals working in respiratory health/medicine (e.g. nurses, physiotherapists, respiratory function technologists, allied respiratory professionals) and must hold at least an MD, MSc or equivalent degree at the time of application. Applicants must be actively engaged in or have experience in the respiratory field.
Applicants must be active ERS members at the time of application.
Applicants should have adequate fluency in the language spoken at the host institution.
At the application deadline, applicants must not have worked or resided in the host country during the previous twelve months.
Exchanges between two institutions within the same country are not allowed.
The fellowship must be carried out on a full-time basis (100%), it cannot be split into separate periods, and recipients are required to return to their home institution upon completion.
Several applicants may apply to the same host institution; however, no more than one applicant per department within the same host institution will be selected.
Applicants who have previously been awarded a CTF are not eligible. Recipients of other ERS fellowships may apply provided that the previous fellowship was completed at least six months before the application deadline and the final report has been submitted.
Funds are not granted for workshops, courses, lectures, meetings, conferences, congresses, or visiting institutions.
