Objectiu de la convocatòria
ECCO Pioneer Awards support basic and/or clinical research in all areas related to inflammatory bowel diseases (IBD) across Europe. Applications may be submitted as single-centre projects (including single-PI applications) or as multicentre project groups.

This call follows a two-step procedure. For the first stage, applicants must submit a Letter of Intent through the ECCO submission page.
Requisits
  • Applicants must be ECCO members.
  • Applicants must be from an ECCO Country Members. In multicentre projects, the majority of applicants must be from ECCO Country Members, and participation of non-European institutes must be justified in the letter of intent. The Project Coordinator must reside in an ECCO Member Country.
  • Applicants may apply for only one ECCO Award category per annual call.
  • The proposed study is expected to be completed within two years.
