Objectiu de la convocatòria
These grants provide funding for travel to a host institution to establish new research links between early-career scientists from European institutions and host institutions abroad, both within and outside Europe.
Característiques principals
Applications will be considered if they address one of the following two aims:
  • To establish more permanent contacts leading to a fellowship or research affiliate position in the host laboratory, thereby supporting the development of a research project in the field of basic cardiovascular sciences.
  • To acquire new skills that will benefit the researcher's future career and can be transferred to the candidate's home institution.

    Requisits
  • Candidates should not be older than 40 years at the time of the application deadline.
  • Candidates should have active involvement in the field of cardiovascular sciences.
  • Candidates should be members of the Council on Basic Cardiovascular Science.
  • Candidates should be working in a European institution.
  • Successful candidates are expected to use the funds within nine months.

  • CV, including a list of publications
  • Letter of support from the host institution
  • Letter of support from the current supervisor or Head of Department
  • Written commitment to provide a detailed report on the outcome of the initiative upon completion of the grant
