Objectiu de la convocatòria
This program supports collaborative research, enabling applicants from Japan to travel to Europe or associated countries, and applicants from Europe or associated countries to travel to Japan to carry out scientific projects in the field of diabetes.

Applications must be submitted through the EFSD portal by 12:00 midday (CET) on the deadline date.
Requisits
  • Applications are invited from single non-profit institutions or from groups of affiliated institutions based in Europe, associated countries, and Japan.
  • The host institution must be a recognised research institution, and applicants should have demonstrated experience and competence in the field of diabetes research.
  • Applications may be submitted by any scientist or clinician currently in a postdoctoral position, with no age restrictions.

    Durada
    12 months. An extension up to 12 months may be granted without additional funding.

  • Collaborator statement
  • List of abstracts from any other support, pending or current (if any)
  • Signatures and declaration
  • Proof of the institution's non-profit status (bylaws or governing document)
  • Letters of support from current mentor at the home institution and future mentor at the host institution. Letters must be dated, printed and signed on institutional letterhead

    Applications must be prepared on the official application form and completed in strict accordance with the detailed instructions to be found there.
