Objectiu de la convocatòria
The TRTH program consists of a week-long course held in spring (the Spring Course), followed by a year-long mentoring interaction with experts in the field. TRTH is intended for trainees and junior faculty engaged in laboratory-based translational and basic science research.
Característiques principals
Projects should focus on laboratory-based translational research in hematology, be hypothesis-driven, and directly related to human biology. They may use diverse experimental approaches (e.g. cellular, molecular, genetic) involving human material or subjects to generate new insights. Pilot or early-phase clinical studies may be included, but purely clinical trials are not eligible.

The Spring Course includes the following main components:
  • Principles of translational and basic science research
  • Ethics in hematologic translational and basic science research
  • Career development insight
  • Breakout group sessions
