Objectiu de la convocatòria
The PRECISEU Open Call funds interregional consortium projects in personalised medicine, fostering cross-regional collaboration to accelerate the development, validation and implementation readiness of innovative solutions.
Característiques principals
The call targets deep-tech innovation in personalised medicine, supporting experimental development projects that must advance solutions from TRL 6 to TRL 8 towards real-world application. Proposals must align with the call scope, expected outcomes and impacts, and topic priorities.
  • Topic 1 - Accelerating the development of Advanced therapeutics:development, testing, validation and scaling of personalised diagnostic and therapeutic solutions, including ATMPs, with a focus on clinical and regulatory integration.
  • Topic 2 - The use of Health Data for Personalised Medicine: innovations enabling the use of interoperable, high-quality health data, including real-world data, data management in healthcare, and integration of large-scale databases to support research and the EHDS.

    Requisits
  • Applicants may be based in any PRECISEU region or in any non-PRECISEU region within EU Member States or Horizon Europe Associated Countries. However, only beneficiaries established in regions covered by a participating Funding Agency are eligible for funding.
  • Eligible organisations include companies, SMEs, research institutes, universities, technology centres, hospitals, public administrations, associations, NGOs, and other relevant public or private entities.
  • Consortia must include legal entities from EU Member States and Horizon Europe Associated Countries and meet the following requirements: at least three (3) applicants from three (3) different Funding Agency regions, with at least two (2) from different EU Member States, and at least one (1) SME located in a Funding Agency region. In addition, a maximum of one (1) partner may come from a PRECISEU non-funding region and one (1) from a non-PRECISEU region.
  • Entities may participate in more than one proposal, provided that i) they only submit one as coordinator, ii) the proposals differ from each other and iii) the teams involved are different within the organisation.

    The maximum financial contribution per project is €3,000,000 and €600,000 per beneficiary. Each partner is funded by its national or regional funding agency, following its own eligibility and financial rules. Investigators from HMRIB may apply for funding through the the Departament de Salut – Generalitat de Catalunya.

    Documentació
    The application process consists of a single submission stage. Proposals must be prepared in English using the official templates and submitted via the PRECISEU website. The application package includes Part A (administrative information), Part B (description of the action), and Part C (budget plan). All mandatory documents must be submitted by the coordinator before the deadline.
    AVÍS IMPORTANT
    It is important to note that a single entity can receive a maximum of €600,000 across all projects in which it participates. If several proposals involving the same entity are positively evaluated and exceed this limit, PRECISEU will apply a budget adjustment process to ensure compliance with the threshold.
