Objectiu de la convocatòria
This program supports innovative early-stage research exploring novel ideas in autism and related neurodevelopmental disorders (NDD). Projects may use any scientific approach or experimental system, provided they demonstrate clear relevance to SFARI's mission of advancing the basic science of autism and NDD.

The call follows a two-step procedure. LOIs will be accepted on a rolling basis and must be submitted through the Simons Award Manager (SAM).
Requisits
  • All applicants and key collaborators must hold a PhD, MD, or equivalent degree and have a faculty position or equivalent at a college, university, medical school, or other research facility.
  • Applications may be submitted by public or private institutions, including colleges, universities, hospitals, laboratories, units of state or local government, and eligible federal government agencies.
  • Unsuccessful applications from previous SFARI RFAs may not be resubmitted. Individuals may participate in only one application per calendar year, regardless of role.
