Característica
Objectiu de la convocatòria
This grant program supports research aimed at elucidating the molecular and cellular mechanisms of marstacimab–TFPI interactions, including, but not limited to, differential tissue expression of tissue factor and TFPI, binding kinetics, and other biochemical properties.
Característiques principals
Clinical Area: Haemophilia and Other Bleeding Disorders

Projects should focus on basic science and the fundamental biological understanding of Tissue Factor Pathway Inhibitor (TFPI), anti-TFPI monoclonal antibodies, and marstacimab, including, but not limited to:
  • Basic biology of TFPI, including interactions among key regulatory proteins within the intrinsic and/or extrinsic coagulation cascades (e.g. Protein S as a cofactor for both Protein C and TFPI)
  • Impact of differential TFPI expression across tissues and the role of different TFPI pools/isoforms in coagulation regulation
  • Pharmacology effects of concomitant therapies administered alongside anti-TFPI treatments
