Objectiu de la convocatòria
This grant program supports independent medical education activities focused on advancing genomic competence and patient-centred communication in metastatic breast cancer (mBC).
Característiques principals
Clinical Area: Oncology – Metastatic Breast Cancer

Projects should focus on one or more of the following educational objectives:
  • Enhancing understanding of genomic biology in mBC subtypes and optimising genomic testing strategies
  • Improving HCP confidence in interpreting molecular reports, including actionable alterations, resistance mechanisms, and VUS
  • Strengthening evidence-based treatment decision-making using genomic data, while navigating evolving guidelines and regional access differences
  • Developing communication skills to explain genomic results clearly, address uncertainty, and manage patient expectations
  • Supporting shared decision-making that integrates patient values, preferences, and quality-of-life considerations
  • Exploring the responsible use of AI-enabled learning tools to reinforce genomic education and communication skills

    Requisits
  • Only organizations can receive grants; individuals are not eligible.
  • The following may apply: healthcare institutions, professional organizations/medical societies, medical education companies, and other entities focused on healthcare professional education and/or healthcare improvement.
  • The applicant must be the project/program lead—or an authorized designee—and must be an employee or contractor of the requesting organization.
  • The institution and PI must be based in one of the following countries: Canada, China, France, Germany, India, Italy, Japan, Spain, or the United Kingdom.
  • For collaborative projects, whether within a single institution or across multiple organizations, all partners must have relevant roles, and the requesting organization must play a key role.
