The International Birnstiel Award recognises the exceptional achievements of PhD students in the molecular life sciences worldwide.

Requisits
  • Nominations are to be submitted by an authorised person, typically a department chair or PhD programme coordinator. Only one nomination per department or programme will be considered.
  • Both advanced-stage PhD candidates and recently graduated PhD students (provided they graduated between the submission deadline and 30 June of the previous year) are eligible to apply.
  • Students who completed their PhD at Austrian institutions are not eligible.

    Documentació
    A nomination will comprise the nominee's CV, a description of the PhD research project, and one recommendation letter from the student's supervisor.
