Objectiu de la convocatòria
These research grants support new investigators dedicated to studying bone marrow failure and advancing the understanding, prevention, and treatment of bone marrow disorders in both pediatric and adult populations.
Característiques principals
In 2026, AAMDSIF will accept proposals addressing the following bone marrow failure disorders:
  • Aplastic Anemia only
  • Aplastic Anemia, Myelodysplastic Syndromes/Neoplasms (MDS), or Paroxysmal Nocturnal Hemoglobinuria (PNH)
    Priority will be given to projects that are translational in nature, focus on basic science with broad clinical implications, explore insights into the pathophysiology of bone marrow failure, or address clinical aspects of these disorders (including epidemiology, treatment, and health services research).

    The call follows a two-stage submission process. Letters of intent must be submitted via ProposalCentral.
    Requisits
  • Open to new investigators only. New investigators are post-doctoral fellows, instructors, and those who have been assistant professors for fewer than five years.
  • The project must represent independent research conducted by the applicant.
