Objectiu de la convocatòria
This program supports outstanding early-career scientists who seek dual expertise in immunology and data science. Eligible projects must be hypothesis-driven in basic or translational cancer immunology.

The application deadlines are March 1 and September 1 annually; when those dates fall on the weekend or holiday, applications are due the following workday.
Requisits
  • Applicants must have a doctoral degree by the award activation date and conduct their proposed research under a sponsor holding a formal appointment as assistant professor or higher at the host institution.
  • Applicants must work in areas directly related to immunology or cancer immunology, with projects falling within the broad field of immunology and relevant to cancer research.
  • Applicants must have less than five years of mentored research experience at the award activation date, calculated from the doctoral degree conferral date. MD applicants should exclude years of residency from this calculation.
  • Applicants who will have spent three or more years in the sponsor's laboratory by the fellowship start date will only be considered in exceptional circumstances.
  • Only one fellow per sponsor may apply per application round, and sponsors may have no more than three CRI-supported fellows at any time.
  • Resubmissions are allowed at a subsequent deadline, provided that the application has been improved to reflect progress and the changes are clearly addressed.

    $74,000, $76,000, and $78,000 stipend. $5,000 annual allowance to cover costs such as research supplies, conference travel, health insurance, or childcare.
