This program supports collaboration between two independent European research groups with complementary expertise in basic and/or translational hematology research.

Requisits
  • Both Principal Investigators must be EHA members.
  • Both PIs must be independent researchers or group leaders in basic and/or translational research, with full appointments at academic institutes or proven equivalents.
  • The two PIs must conduct their research in two different European countries.
  • At least one PI must be a junior independent group leader, within five years of starting independent research.
  • If an applicant is a physician-scientist, at least 50% of their time must be dedicated to laboratory research.
  • Projects focused on hemoglobinopathies will have a competitive advantage in the selection process.

    Up to €320,000 to be divided equally between the two research groups.
