This career development grant supports early-career researchers whose research activities are affected by pregnancy, parental leave, or adoption leave, helping them balance family responsibilities with scientific advancement.

This program accepts applications twice per year. This is the second round of applications for 2026. The following call will open in February 2027.
Requisits
  • Applicants should be early-career Principal Investigators with a maximum of seven years in this role; justified career breaks are accepted.
  • Applicants must have at least one peer-reviewed publication as corresponding author.
  • Aplicants or or their partners must be either pregnant (at least four months), have given birth within four months prior to the application deadline, or be close to adoption, assuming the role of the primary caregiver.
