Objectiu de la convocatòria
The CBTH program supports early-career researchers in haematology through a nine-month training and mentoring experience focused on computational and quantitative biology, including two multi-day workshops in Europe and a session at the EHA Congress.

Requisits
  • Applicants must hold a PhD, MD or equivalent degree and have a proven track record in hematology research. Additionally, the following time limits apply:
    - MD applicants must have up to 12 years of experience after graduation.
    - PhD applicants must have up to 8 years of postdoctoral experience after graduation.
    - MD/PhD holders must have up to 8 years of experience after completing the last degree.
    - PhD students who will finish their degree by the start of the program may also apply.
  • Applicants should have solid knowledge of computational biology, including coding skills, and be interested in using these to study hematology.
  • Applicants must apply with their own research project and a dataset (either public or their own) to be analyzed using computational methods during the program.
  • Applicants must have the support of an institutional mentor, preferably with expertise in both biology and computational fields.
  • Applicants must be EHA members at the time of application and throughout the award period.
  • No more than one applicant may be selected from the same laboratory, and no more than two from the same institution.
  • Only one applicant with the same mentor may be selected.
  • Applicants must be fluent in spoken and written English.

    Funding covers travel, accommodation and meals for the two workshops, and travel, accommodation and registration for the EHA Congress session, within the established limits.
