Objectiu de la convocatòria
The Danone International Prize for Nutrition recognizes a researcher leading a major advancement in nutrition science, including new concepts and research fields with potential application for human diet and health.
Característiques principals
The innovative research, including mechanisms, disease prevention and management, behavior, economics, public health, or expanding the frontiers of food science and nutrition, are within scope.

Requisits
The candidate must be employed by a not-for-profit institution and actively involved in research at the time of the award selection.
Under exceptional circumstances, the Prize may be shared between two individuals or teams working on the same innovative research.
An application should be submitted by a nominator.
Dotació
€ 120 000, to be shared 50/50 between the laureate and his/her not-for-profit primary research institution. The Prize funds provided to the institution must be used to support nutrition research within the laureate’s fields.
