Objectiu de la convocatòria
ERA-NETs are projects funded by the European Commission in various research fields. Their goal is to create a European Research Area in which research is conducted and funded across countries, allowing research groups to jointly work on specific problems, exchange ideas, and benefit from cross border expertise. The current project NEURON II co-ordinates national and regional programmes for disease-related neuroscience research in 24 participant funding organisations across 18 European Member States, Israel as an Associated Country, and Canada. |

The ERA-NET NEURON partner countries are issuing the EXCELLENT PAPER IN NEUROSCIENCE AWARD to recognize the most remarkable and outstanding scientific publications by young researchers in the field of disease-related neurosciences. |

Dotació
An award of 3,000 Euros will be awarded to the best proposal. The winner will be invited as a special ERA-NET NEURON Young Investigator lecturer in the 10th FENS Forum of Neuroscience in Copenhagen July 2-6, 2016 (exact date to be confirmed). The award and travel costs related to the lecture will be covered by ERA-NET NEURON II. |
