Objectiu de la convocatòria
The Grant for Oncology Innovation (GOI) is an initiative funded by EMD Serono.
Investigators leading innovative research projects that have the potential to advance the implementation of personalised treatment for solid tumors are invited to apply.
We are particularly interested in:
•Access to personalised treatment/care for patients
•Innovative research with clinical relevance and benefits for patients
•Solid tumour malignancies
Característiques principals
Potential research topics include:
  • Research on molecular biomarkers or new targeted treatments
  • Technology platforms for the routine analysis of molecular biomarkers
  • Side effect management and platforms or tools which allow patients to access individualized treatment

    Requisits
    Researchers from around the world may apply for the grant if they are leading innovative research projects to advance the use of personalised medicine in cancer treatment.
    EMD is particularly interested in:
  • Access to personalized treatment/care for patients
  • Innovative research with clinical relevance and benefits for patients
  • Solid tumor malignancies.
    Applicants must be aware that (in some particular cases) to be eligible to apply they must have preliminary data, with positive outcomes that support their proposal (data will be requested as part of the application procedure).
    • Dotació
    A total grant of up to € 1,000,000 will be awarded to one or more selected projects.

    Applicants should send an e-mail expressing their interest to GOI@emdserono.com
    They will then receive an automatic reply inviting them to complete a letter of intent and provide a brief description of their research project, including supportive data.
