Objectiu de la convocatòria
The Justice Programme, which aims at contributing to the further development of a European area of justice, funds projects relating to drugs, in particular on policy coordination, judicial cooperation on drug-related issues, and new psychoactive substances.
Característiques principals
The present Call for Proposals aims at funding projects on the topic of EU drugs policy.
Project applications submitted under the present Call for Proposals must address one of the following priorities:
1. Support of the implementation of EU legislation on new psychoactive substances by:
  • improving the capacity to identify and assess new psychoactive substances and
  • reducing the availability of harmful substances and
  • monitoring the extent and patterns of use of such substances and
  • sharing best practices on prevention.
    2. Exchange of best practices on cooperation between public authorities involved in drug-related services and civil society in order to ensure:
  • enhancing the effectiveness of prevention and harm reduction measures and
  • enhancing the effectiveness of reintegration and rehabilitation of (long-term) drug users, including those released from prison; in particular through developing and sharing innovative approaches and
  • improved effectiveness of law enforcement activities aiming at the prevention and reduction of the number of drug-related offences.
    3. Support of the involvement of civil society in the implementation of the objectives of the EU Drug Strategy 2013-2020 and of the specific actions under the EU Drugs Action Plan 2013-2016

    Requisits
    In order to be eligible for a grant, applications must be:
    a) transnational, i.e. involving at least two entities established in two different EU Member States participating in the Justice Programme;
    b) seeking EU co-funding of equal to or more than EUR 150.000;
    c) the project must not have started prior to the date of submission of the grant application.
    Dotació
    Minumum funding requested: EUR 150,000 The total budget for the action is estimated at EUR 2,505,000. The Commission expects to fund approximately 5-6 proposals.
    Durada
    Maximum 24 months.
