Objectiu de la convocatòria
The European Foundation for Alcohol Research is an independent European alcohol research foundation, established in Brussels in 2003. ERAB was established to fund biomedical and psychosocial research into beer and other alcoholic drinks.
This initiative is supported by The Brewers of Europe, the voice of the brewing industry in Europe, whose members are the national brewing trade associations, representing more than 90% of European beer production.

ERAB offers exchange awards to visit a centre of excellence to collaborate in a joint research project in any part of the world.

Requisits
  • The European Foundation for Alcohol Research Exchange Awards are open to European researchers under the age of 35 working in the field of alcohol research.
  • They can be used to visit a centre of excellence to collaborate in a joint research project in any part of the world.
  • A structured research collaboration and the potential for publication is expected.
  • Applications are restricted to one per person.
  • Awards cannot exceed €2,500 but this can be put towards additional funding from other sources.

    To apply for an ERAB Exchange Award the following information must be provided:
  • Brief (1 side of A4) C.V. of applicant.
  • Brief (1 side of A4 ) justification for visit with details of expected collaboration and the potential for publications.
  • Letters of support from heads of researcher´s own Department and of proposed host Department.
  • Details of cost breakdown. (N.B. the awards may be used to help funding from other sources).
