FEBS Return-To-Europe Fellowships are awarded to support outstanding scientists who, having left the European area for post-doctoral training elsewhere, wish to return to Europe for a post-doctoral position with a view to pursuing an independent research career. Applications must be aimed at furthering the science of biochemistry and molecular biology. |

Requisits
In order to be eligible to apply for a Return-To-Europe Fellowship, applicants need to have obtained their PhD in Europe and held a post-doctoral position overseas for no more than four years. They should normally be scientists with no more than six years of post-doctoral experience overall. In order to be eligible to apply for a Return-to-Europe Fellowship, applicants need to be members of a FEBS Constituent Society, to be working in a laboratory outside Europe and to be seeking to work in a laboratory in a FEBS country. Applicants for a Return-to-Europe Fellowship may not work or live in the host country/institution before the closing date of the call. Dotació
The amount of the Fellowship will depend on the cost of living in the country visited and will include travelling expenses for the Fellow and his/her dependants. The annual stipends for fellows starting their fellowship in 2016 can be found at the Stipends document. |
