Objectiu de la convocatòria
The Nestlé Foundation supports basic and applied research in nutrition.
At present the Foundation's work is primarily concerned with human nutrition research issues dealing with:
  • maternal and child nutrition, including breastfeeding and complementary feeding,
  • macro- and micronutrient deficiencies and imbalances,
  • interactions between infection and nutrition, and
  • nutrition education and health promotion

    Informació addicional
    The Foundation offers different research grant categories:
  • Training grant (TG): small research project such as a MSc or PhD thesis project or another training endeavor.
  • Pilot Grant (PG): pilot research that has a high potential to lead to a subsequent full research project grant.
  • Full Grant - small / large (SRG/LRG): small research study. This may even represent a continuation of a TG or also a PG / Full grant application of a complete research proposal according to the guidelines.
  • Re-Entry Grants (REG): To encourage the return and re-establishment of post-graduate students into their careers in their own countries
    • AVÍS IMPORTANT
    Applications are accepted all year round. There are two deadlines each year: January 10th and May 10th.
