Objectiu de la convocatòria
The mission of the FY19 PCRP is to fund research that will lead to the elimination of death from prostate cancer and enhance the well-being of Service members, Veterans, and all men experiencing the impact of the disease. Within this context, the PCRP is interested in supporting research that addresses specific gaps in prostate cancer research and clinical care. Therefore, applications are required to address one or more of the following FY19 PCRP Overarching Challenges:
  • Improve the quality of life for survivors of prostate cancer
  • Develop treatments that improve outcomes for men with lethal prostate cancer
  • Reduce lethal prostate cancer in African Americans, Veterans, and other high-risk populations
  • Define the biology of lethal prostate cancer to reduce death

    The PCRP is currently accepting applications for four award mechanisms:
  • Clinical Trial Award
  • Health Disparity Research Award
  • Sinergistic Population and Data Science Award
  • Translational Science Award
    Each award mechanism has different funding limits and eligibility requirements. Please consult the Synopsis of PCRP FY2019 Award Mechanisms document in order to find the most convenient mechanism for your research project. You will find the complete information on the selected mechanism in the corresponding Program Announcement.

    SUBMISSION INFORMATION:
    All award mechanisms require a Pre-application/Letter of Intent through the electronic Biomedical Research Application Portal (eBRAP) https://ebrap.org/ Principal Investigators and organizational representatives should register in eBRAP as soon as possible.
    Deadline: Jun 27, 2019
    Succesful pre-applications will be invited to submit a full application submission through Grants.gov (http://www.grants.gov/)
