Objectiu de la convocatòria
Small Meeting Grants are intended to cover the cost of a running small meeting in the fields of the Company of Biologist’s journals. Small meetings would normally be arranged on a small budget and be a local meeting taking place on one day.

The call is open all year round. Applicants will generally be informed of the funding decision within four weeks of receipt of application.
Requisits
The following criteria is required for funding:
  • Level of funding not exceeding £400
  • Total meeting budget not to exceed £1,000
  • Meeting to take place on one day
  • Meeting not to be part of a larger meeting or organisation
  • Only one application per year can be made
  • Funding will not be made retrospectively

    Applications for support for aspects of large meetings will not be considered for a Small Meeting Grants.

    What will not be funded?
  • Undergraduate expeditions and courses
  • Prizes, e.g. posters
  • Social/political networking
  • Conference dinners/social events/refreshment breaks
  • Tuition fees
  • Abstract books
  • Field excursion costs for summer post grad schools/courses
