This Award is offered to researchers in recognition of research projects conducted in Cystic Fibrosis (CF) Science and Medicine. The Award is exclusively reserved to scientists and clinicians and must be used to further investigate the area of CF.

Requisits
Original research should not have been previously sponsored by pharmaceutical industries.
60 years of age or under at the time of the application deadline (early-career applicants are encouraged!)
Must not be a previous Gold Medal awardee or have received any other ERS award or grant in the last three years.
Active ERS Membership.
Mandatory attendance at the ERS International Congress for the Opening Ceremony.
ERS current Officers, staff members and consultants are not eligible for the ERS Gold Medals and other funding programmes (with the exception for Group Chairs, Group Secretaries, Associate Editors, National Delegates, Long-Range Planning Committees, Tobacco Control Committee, Environment and Health Committee, and Internal Auditors, provided that they are not officers in another committee).

List of the top ten original peer-reviewed publications (max. 10).
Summary of the main career achievements and personal contribution to the field (1,000 words max.).
Overview of the current research projects, future outcomes and areas of research that the award may be used to support. (500 words max.).
Work hiatus details (if applicable)
COI declaration form completed (Industry and Tobacco).
