Objectiu de la convocatòria
The SIB Early Career Bioinformatician Award recognises the excellence and promise of a researcher’s early career based on a project he/she has carried out, or a paper he/she has published in the field of bioinformatics or computational biology.

Requisits
  • Candidates may only submit in one category.
  • Candidate need to point out if he/she had major contributions to an application submitted in another category.
  • The award is open to any graduate student or young researcher whose PhD was completed during the six years preceding the closing date for applications, and who has carried out a research project in bioinformatics or computational biology.
    • Dotació
    A cash prize of CHF 10,000, an award certificate, and travel expenses for the Laureate to attend the award ceremony. The usage of the prize money is unconditional.
    Documentació
    Applications may be submitted by the Candidate him/herself or any professor working in the field of bioinformatics or computational biology.
    Applications must include the following components:
  • Major research achievements
  • CV
  • (optional) PhD or Master thesis
