Objectiu de la convocatòria
Innovative training, networking, and support to emerging leaders focused on improving brain health and reducing the impact of dementia in their local communities and on a global scale.
Característiques principals
As an Atlantic Fellow at GBHI, you will join the program for 12 months and be linked to either our University of California, San Francisco (UCSF) or Trinity College Dublin (Trinity) campus. You’ll engage in a broad base of content related to brain health, dementia, and health equity. Additionally, through observational and case-based learning you’ll gain insight into the lived experience of people with dementia in clinical and community-based settings, and engage in projects aimed at advancing brain health. Through intensive mentoring, you’ll be guided in the development of your projects, career, and leadership. You will have the opportunity to apply for competitively awarded funding for pilot projects and have ongoing opportunities to connect and collaborate with a network of researchers, clinicians, artists, and policy makers.
After your fellowship you will continue to have access to career-duration mentoring, funding opportunities, and an international network of colleagues collaborating to drive a common mission.
