Objectiu de la convocatòria
The program provides significant funding for researchers who have already generated some amount of preliminary data, but are often required to demonstrate additional, significant progress before they can apply to governmental or industrial funding agencies.
Característiques principals
The ADR program offers two types of awards:
  • Standard Awards: funding for researchers who have already generated some amount of preliminary data, but are often required to demonstrate additional, significant progress before they can apply to governmental or industrial funding agencies.
  • Postdoctoral Fellowship Awards: funding for young researchers in their final stages of mentored training. These awards fund projects in an established laboratory that will serve as the basis for the applicant's own independent research career.

    Requisits
  • Standard Award: Traditionally, the Principal Investigator (P.I.) must have held an academic rank equivalent or higher than Assistant Professor.
  • Postdoctoral Fellowship Award: Postdoctoral Fellowships are available to junior and senior postdoctoral fellows. Applicants with pending appointments are eligible to apply, but the appointment must be finalized by the start of the award.
