Through two prestigious awards of €150,000 each, the Fondation ARC rewards researchers whose work has led to a major breakthrough in basic research and in translational or clinical research in oncology.

Requisits
The maximum number of researchers per application file may not exceed six.
Each applicant must still be active in research at the time of the Call for application and must commit himself/herself to use the Award to pursue his/her scientific works.
All candidates must be sponsored by at least two internationally renowned scientists, preferably from sponsors not from the candidates’ own institutes (with a maximum of 5 sponsors).
The application must be submitted online by the candidate himself/herself, when they obtain the letters of recommendation from their sponsors. Sponsors may support several candidates per session.
The number of applications per candidate, individual or team, is limited to 5 sessions of the Award.
Members of Fondation ARC’s scientific committees as well as Fondation ARC’s Board of Directors may be sponsors, but may not be nominees or members of nominated teams.

Documentació
The application has to be completed in English and must contain the following items:
Candidate(s) should mention the prize category in which s/he applies (Basic Research Award or Translational and Clinical Award)
CV of (each) candidate in less than 6000 characters
List of scientific awards received by the candidate(s)
A summary of major achievements in less than 3000 characters
List of 5 key words by order of relevance to the scientific work conducted
List of up to 20 publications of the candidate(s) related to the research on which the nomination is based with the reference of the 3 most significant publications
Two letters of recommendation signed by two internationally renowned scientists, highlighting the candidate’s contributions which have led to a major discovery in the field of cancer and, in the case of several candidates, their respective contributions (the maximum number of sponsors is set at 5)
Name and address of the research team’s parent organization designated to receive the dedicated funds, according to article 3 of the present rules
