Objectiu de la convocatòria
ERS Mid-Career Gold Medals aims to honour researchers with an excellent track record in the specific field of the awards on offer and the potential for further outstanding developments.
The call for applications/nominations is now open and will close on 10 February 2023.

  • ERS Mid-Career Gold Medal in Sleep Disordered Breathing
  • ERS Mid-Career Gold Medal in Chronic Cough
  • ERS Mid-Career Gold Medal in NTM
  • ERS Mid-Career Gold Medal in Asthma
  • ERS Mid-Career Gold Medal in Cystic Fibrosis
  • ERS Mid-Career Gold Medal in Thoracic Surgery and Transplantation
  • ERS Mid-Career Gold Medal in ARDS

    Requisits
  • Active ERS Membership at the time of the application.
  • Must be an active researcher.
  • Aged 50 years old or below (taking into consideration any work hiatus period which will be deducted to calculate the career-age).
  • Must not have received any other ERS award or grant in the past three years (please refer to the ERS Past Awards Eligibility Guidelines 2023).
  • Must not be a previous ERS Gold Medal or Mid-Career Gold Medal award winner.
  • Members of the ERS Science Council, Executive Committee and Fellowships and Awards Working Group members are not eligible for the ERS Mid-Career Gold Medal.
  • The research project put forward for funding should not have been previously sponsored by pharmaceutical industry. *
