Objectiu de la convocatòria
The objective of the EFSD/Lilly Young Investigator Research Awards is to encourage innovative research in the fields of diabetes and its complications, and to promote excellence in medical education. Applicants should have demonstrated their ability in the field of diabetes research. |

Requisits
Applications may be made by any paid-up member of EASD having received their highest degree (PhD, MD, DMD, DVM, or equivalent) no more than five (basic scientist) or seven years (clinician) before 1 January 2023. For clinicians holding more than one qualifying degree (e.g. MD PhD) or with a clinical specialist degree/board certification, the time since the first degree may not exceed ten years before 1 January 2023. Time periods spent on maternity/paternity leave, long-term illness or other exceptional circumstances will be taken into account, if adequate documentation can be provided upon request. Fellows may not hold a permanent appointment. Research Awards must be held at a non-profit institution based in Europe or an associated country |
