Objectiu de la convocatòria
LEO Foundation ‘Open competition grants’ are given to support the best dermatology research projects worldwide.
Característiques principals
Applications are welcome from research projects that:
  • Improve the understanding of skin biology as well asthe underlying medicinal, biological, chemical, orpharmacological mechanisms of dermatologicaldiseases and their symptoms.
  • Address clinical issues among people who are at risk of developing, or have developed, a skin disease, including how it impacts their quality of life and the societal costs involved.
    The LEO Foundation no longer supports projects on skin cancer (e.g. melanoma, CTCL, BCC and SCC).

    There are three deadlines for 2023:
  • 28 February

  • 31 August
    All deadlines are at 16:00 CET
  • Requisits
    The main applicant should hold at least a Ph.D. degree (or equivalent academic qualifications).
    Any grantee can only hold one concurrent Open competition grant from the LEO Foundation at any time.
    You are only allowed one resubmission of any previously reviewed application for the LEO Foundation. If your application was previously submitted (partly or in full), please describe any changes made from the previous version in a cover letter uploaded along with the mandatory attachments.
    An application can only have one main applicant and one host organization to which all funding will be paid out
    Dotació
    Between two (2) and four (4) million DKK.
    Durada
    One to three years.
