Objectiu de la convocatòria
The goal of the Well-being call is to fund innovative social science research addressing one or more of the call themes.
Característiques principals
NORFACE (the New Opportunities for Research Funding Agency Cooperation in Europe) network, in collaboration with CHANSE (Collaboration of Humanities and Social Sciences in Europe), now proposes a major transnational programme on the topic of “Enhancing Well-Being for the Future ''. The theme can be approached from a variety of perspectives and disciplines in the social sciences. It enables and encourages multi-disciplinarity and provides opportunities for pan-European research integrating researchers from different regions of Europe, and for comparisons across various contexts.
The present call proposes to focus the research on the following themes:
  • Well-being and mental health.
  • Crises, challenges, and well-being
  • Environmental challenges and well-being.
  • Well-being, economy, and politics.

    In order to facilitate the process of forming research consortia, we offer applicants a partner search tool available. This tool can be used by projects looking for partners and partners looking for projects. https://www2.ncn.gov.pl/partners/chanse/
    Requisits
    Project team must be composed of at least four and maximum six Principal Investigators, i.e. partners, eligible to receive funding from four or more different countries participating in the call.
    Research questions related to this theme may include but are not restricted to:
  • Uncovering the development of mental health and well-being among children and adolescents.
  • Investigating the long-term trajectories of well-being and mental health and their interaction beyond adolescence appears promising.
  • Building the basis for future population-based and individuum-based interventions.
