Objectiu de la convocatòria
Through the scientific awards programme, ERS aims to acknowledge scientific merit by honouring exceptional members in the respiratory field for their exemplary achievements and their contributions both to research and within ERS. Additionally, the scientific awards programme looks to value rising stars and their potential for further outstanding developments in all respiratory areas as well as to promote members from scientifically developing countries to acknowledge tremendous regional and national impact.

    Requisits
  • Active ERS Membership at the time of the application.
  • Must be an active researcher.
  • Aged 50 years old or below by the application deadline (taking into consideration any work hiatus period which will be deducted to calculate the career-age).
  • Must not be a previous winner of the Mid-Career Gold Medal they are applying to. Candidates may re-apply for a Mid-Career Gold Medal; however, they cannot apply for the exact same one they were awarded.
  • Must not be a previous ERS Award winner in the past five years of any of the awards listed under section 10.1.
  • Must not have received any of the ERS awards or grants listed under section 10.2 in the past three years.
  • Must not be a member of the ERS Science Council, Executive Committee and Fellowships and Awards Working. Group
