Objectiu de la convocatòria
The AACR-Ocular Melanoma Foundation Career Development Award, in honor of Robert C. Allen, MD represents a joint effort to encourage and support early-stage investigators.
Característiques principals
The research proposed must be translational or clinical in nature and must have direct applicability and relevance to ocular/uveal melanoma.

Requisits
Applicants must have a doctoral degree (PhD, MD, MD/PhD or equivalent) in a related field and not currently a candidate for a further doctoral degree.
At the start of the grant term on July 1, 2024 applicants must:
  • Hold a faculty position with the title of assistant professor, instructor, research assistant professor, or the equivalent.
  • Have completed their most recent doctoral degree within the past 11 years (i.e., degree cannot have been conferred before July 1, 2013; the formal date of receipt of doctoral degree is the date the degree was conferred as indicated on their diploma and/or transcript).
  • Have independent laboratory space as confirmed by their institution.
  • Work at an academic, medical, or research institution anywhere in the world.
  • Be an active member of the AARC.
  • There are no citizenship requierements, but the applicant must have the right to work in the country of residency.
