Objectiu de la convocatòria
The E-G-G is intended for translational or clinical research aiming at improving our understanding of pain mechanisms in humans and/or improving diagnosis, treatment and management of pain in patients, including innovative educational initiatives.
Característiques principals
The E-G-G gives priority to research projects that have impact on patients at the heart of its aims. We are particularly interested in projects that can directly improve the management of pain, where the patient outcomes are the focus, and project that could help to improve the understanding of pathophysiology of pain and potential treatment targets.
Research Grants are intended for clinical and human experimental pain research.
Research proposals on animals, computer simulations, cell lines etc. will not be considered.

Requisits
The E-G-G is open to applicants who are:
  • Healthcare professionals or researchers working in the field of pain management and/or pain research
  • Holding a PhD degree (for a maximum of 7 years on 2 September 2024)
  • Holding a temporary or permanent position at a hospital, university, or research institution of any member country of European Pain Federation EFIC®
  • Dotació
    Up to € 50,000 per project
    Durada
    Up to two years.
