Objectiu de la convocatòria
Hospital del Mar Research Institute (HMRIB) grants specific aids for the completion of doctoral theses with European mention, aimed at the staff of the Parc de Salut Mar and la Fundació Institut Mar d’Investigacions Mèdiques (In the following, Foundation). The grants are intended for final reprography and binding expenses. This year's call is aimed at the completion of doctoral theses with European mention that are submitted for their reading during the year 2024. |

Requisits
All staff of the Parc de Salut MAR and the Foundation affiliated with any of the research groups of the Institute may apply for this grant. In the case of trainees and collaborators, it is also an essential requirement that the thesis be supervised by a researcher employed by the Parc de Salut Mar or the Foundation. Obligations of the grant recipient: a) Provide the handle of the thesis deposit in a public repository. b) In the thesis, state that this grant has been received from the HMRI. |

Dotació
Maximum of €400 per doctoral thesis (total amount allocated to this grant is €5,000). The grant will be awarded at the end of the year. In case it is necessary to prioritize proposals, the Internal Scientific Advisory Board will be consulted. |

Documentació
1.‐ The application form must be submitted, duly completed and signed with a digital certificate 2.‐ A written summary of the thesis (approximately 200 words) signed by the applicant and the thesis supervisor. 3.‐ The invoice from the printing press or reprographics company dated 2024, in the name of the person to be reimbursed. 4.‐ A copy of the thesis defense minutes or other document evidencing that the thesis has European mention |
