INNOVATIVE MEDICINES INITIATIVE
IMI is a partnership between the European Union and the European pharmaceutical industry, represented by the European Federation of Pharmaceutical Industries and Associations (EFPIA).
The goal of the Innovative Medicines Initiative 2 (IMI 2) is to develop next generation vaccines, medicines and treatments, such as new antibiotics. It will build on the successes and lessons learnt under IMI. Like IMI, it will bring together companies, universities, public laboratories, innovative small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), patient groups and regulators in collaborative projects that will pave the way for breakthrough vaccines, medicines and treatments to tackle Europe’s growing health challenges, and secure the future international competitiveness of Europe’s pharmaceutical industry.

COST dóna suport a activitats en xarxa com reunions, conferències, intercanvis científics de curta durada i activitats de promoció. ROLEX ARWARDS FOR ENTERPRISE
The Rolex Awards for Enterprise support pioneering work in five areas:
  • applied technology,
  • cultural heritage,
  • environment,
  • exploration and discovery, and
  • science and health.

    Projects are assessed on their originality, potential for impact, feasibility, and, above all, on the candidates own spirit of enterprise.

    Winners are innovators who typically work outside the mainstream and often have limited accesss to traditional funding. Rather than reward past achievements, the Rolex Awards provide financial assistance and recognition to individuals embarking on new ventures or carrying out ongoing projects.

    La Fundació AECC convoca ajuts per a projectes de recerca sobre càncer infantil, que es desenvolupin sota la supervisió d’un investigador principal i que es realitzin en la seva totalitat a Espanya.

    ROI - RADIATION ONCOLOGY INSTITUTE
    The aim of this request is to examine the comparative value of radiotherapy. The ROI, ASTRO, NCI and IOM call for generation of evidence to demonstrate the value of technologies and interventions in radiation oncology. Value encompasses aspects of both comparative and cost effectiveness but can be more broadly defined to include innovative approaches to evaluating the benefits and harms of radiation oncology interventions. The ROI supports studies that examine the comparative value of radiotherapy because such studies have the potential to generate the evidence needed to improve cancer outcomes while slowing the growth of health care spending.

    FUNDACIÓ PRIVADA DANIEL BRAVO ANDREU
    Fomentar la cooperació entre investigadors clínics i bàsics que vulguin establir noves línies de recerca prometedores en patologies pediàtriques diverses.
    A partir d’una necessitat mèdica no coberta, es genera un projecte col·laboratiu entre grups clínics (amb contacte directe amb els pacients) i grups de recerca bàsica (que no necessàriament estan en contacte amb pacients) que no poden ser d’un mateix centre. Per aquest motiu, seran objecte dels ajuts els projectes de col·laboració entre dues entitats de l’àmbit sanitari o de recerca que desenvolupin un projecte d’investigació en l’àmbit de la recerca en pediatria.

L'objecte de la proposta ha de respondre a una incertesa epidemiològica, un problema diagnòstic o terapèutic, una nova estratègia de prevenció o similar. En aquesta modalitat el candidat s'integrarà en un grup receptor, sota la supervisió d'un investigador principal sènior, però l'abast de l'estudi podrà abastar diverses institucions (multicèntric)
