COMISSIÓ EUROPEA
The Joint Programming of the European Union aims to pool national research efforts in order to make better use of Europe’s public R&D resources and to tackle common European challenges more effectively.
The primary aim of this first joint call of JPIAMR is to combine the resources, infrastructures, and research strengths of multiple countries in order to address the identification and validation of new targets, the development of new therapies, and new tools for new treatments (including new antibiotics).
The call will only cover research tackling the bacterial pathogens and the resistances identified in the Global priority list of antibiotic-resistant bacteria published by the WHO in September 2017 with the addition of multi- and extensively drug resistant Mycobacterium tuberculosis.

L'objecte de la present actuació és finançar la participació d'entitats espanyoles integrants de consorcis transnacionals que hagin concorregut prèviament a convocatòries transnacionals en què participa l'ISCIII, relacionades en l'Annex 2, sempre que hagin estat prioritzades en l'avaluació duta a terme pel programa europeu corresponent.
Amb aquesta actuació es pretén finançar la contribució d'equips d'investigació espanyols en projectes transnacionals de recerca que demostrin un valor afegit de la col·laboració internacional en el camp de les ciències i tecnologies de la salut.

ISCIII - INSTITUTO DE SALUD CARLOS III
- Finançar una línia de recerca de qualitat estable, evitant la fragmentació dels grups de recerca, de manera que assoleixin la mida que els permeti tenir la massa crítica necessària, fomentant la participació d'investigadors principals amb dedicació única en cada modalitat de projecte.
- Impulsar el finançament de projectes de recerca sol·licitats per investigadors dels programes Juan Rodés, Miguel Servet, Ramon i Cajal i del programa d'estabilització d'investigadors del SNS (I3 SNS). Almenys el 5% dels projectes que es financin s'hauran de destinar al compliment d'aquest objectiu específic.
- Fomentar la presentació de projectes coordinats que facin possible la creació de contextes de cooperació científica, especialment en els investigadors que participen en les estructures estables d'investigació cooperativa, accelerant la transferència de resultats a la pràctica clínica, i que permetin obtenir objectius difícilment assolibles a través de projectes individuals, i en els quals s'evidenciï la interacció d'equips de recerca biomèdica bàsica (orientada a la malaltia), amb equips d'investigació biomèdica clínica (orientada al pacient) i amb equips d'investigació epidemiològica i en serveis de salut.
- Potenciar la investigació traslacional en cooperació i amb resultats propers al mercat.
- Potenciar la participació en projectes a realitzar a través de les infraestructures europees constituïdes com ERIC (EATRIS, ECRIN), en què Espanya és membre, representada pel ISCIII.

The JPND Research Strategy, published in 2012, identified research priorities and provided a framework for future investment.

- Finançar una línia de recerca de qualitat estable, evitant la fragmentació dels grups de recerca, per tal de que assoleixin una mida òptima per adquirir massa crítica, fomentant la participació d’investigadors amb dedicació única a cada projecte. Tant els IP's com els CoIP's hauran d'anar amb dedicació única i hauran de ser de la mateixa entitat sol·licitant.

- Com a mínim el 5% dels projectes que es financien s’hauran de destinar a investigadors contractats de la modalidad Miguel Servet, Ramon y Cajal, Juan Rodés o del programa d'estabilització.

- Fomentar la presentació de projectes coordinats que facin possible: Accelerar la transferència de resultats a la pràctica clínica i que evidenciï la interacció entre grups d'investigació bàsica i de biomedicina clínica amb altres d'investigació epidemiològica i en serveis de salut.

Com a mínim el 20% dels projectes que es financien hauran d'estar dirigits a personal investigador que realitza tasques assistencials en el SNS.
Es podran vincular a empreses o altres entitats públiques o privades.

FUNDACIÓ PRIVADA D'ESTUDIS I RECERCA ONCOLÒGICA
La finalitat de la beca és completar la formació de joves investigadors en el camp de l'Oncologia i promoure la ràpida transmissió dels avenços científics en aquest camp als pacients. Per això, es reconeix un projecte científic presentat per professionals novells que treballin en institucions espanyoles involucrades en aquest tipus d'investigació.
S'atorgarà al millor projecte d'investigació oncològica translacional, que es prevegi des de la data de resolució. Els projectes d'investigació han d'estar basats en idees originals.

    Hi ha dues categories dels grups de recerca:
  • Grups dirigits per joves investigadors, nascuts al 1973 o amb data posterior.
  • Grups de recerca habituals d'aquesta modalitat.

    Podran ser beneficiaris de la modalitat Contractes PFIS els centres en què desenvolupin la seva activitat els investigadors que van obtenir finançament com a investigadors principals de projectes individuals o coordinadors de projectes coordinats o multicèntrics en la convocatòria 2017 de l'AES dins de la modalitat de Projectes de recerca en salut. En el cas de projectes amb dos investigadors principals, només un d'ells podrà presentar un candidat per al projecte.

The specific challenge is to promote a transnational collaborative approach between scientific teams in demanding areas of translational cancer research while avoiding the duplication of efforts and ensuring a more efficient use of available resources, to produce significant results of higher quality and impact, and share data and infrastructures.
    The EC co-funded call of TRANSCAN-2 (JTC 2017) will focus on: “Translational research on rare cancers”

    The aim of the E-Rare Joint Transnational Calls (JTCs) is to enable scientists in different countries to build an effective collaboration on a common interdisciplinary research project based on complementarities and sharing of expertise, with a clear translational research approach.

    Projects shall involve a group of rare diseases or a single rare disease following the European definition i.e. a disease affecting not more than five in 10000 persons in the European Community, EC associated states and Canada.

    The research projects have to focus on hypothesis-driven use of multi-omic integrated approaches for discovery of disease causes and/or on functional validation in the context of rare diseases.

    Fomentar la investigació clínica avançada en teràpia cel·lular, teràpia gènica i immunoteràpia tumoral no farmacològica mitjançant el finançament de projectes no promoguts per la indústria farmacèutica.
    Seran susceptibles de finançament projectes de qualitat contrastada dirigits al desenvolupament d'assajos clínics, preferentment en fase II o III, que permetin objectivar avenços tangibles per als pacients i que proporcionin evidències a les autoritats sanitàries per a la seva implantació en el SNS els projectes seran multiinstitucionals: presentant una única proposta a desenvolupar per un mínim de dos grups pertanyents a diferents entitats ubicades en dos comunitats autònomes diferents.

    La Fundació Espanyola d'Hematologia i Hemoteràpia (FEHH) convoca una beca amb data 26 d'octubre de 2017 per començar a gaudir a 2018.     The primary target group in the CIMO Fellowship programme are such Doctoral level students who will be doing their Doctorate (or Double Doctorate) at a Finnish university . Visiting Doctoral-level students and researchers who are doing their Doctorate degree at some foreign university can also be considered eligible, provided that the motivation letter of the hosting Finnish university department presents exceptionally good grounds for such an application.

    Purpose:
  • to learn clearly-defined methods useful for your ongoing research and the work of your research group at home by visiting another laboratory, or by attending research-orientated courses including practical training (the practical part has to cover at least 50% of the course);
  • to enable graduates from abroad and their potential PhD supervisors to evaluate the scientific and personal prerequisites before embarking on a PhD thesis. To this end, the graduate student shall pursue a short project in his/her potential PhD supervisor’s laboratory for at least 4 weeks.
