L'objecte del guardó és donar suport a projectes innovadors impulsats per universitats, instituts de recerca, spin offs, start-up 's ..., dirigits a millorar la qualitat de vida i l'atenció a persones en situació de cronicitat, dependència o amb discapacitat. S'acceptaran dos tipus de treballs:
1. Projectes de recerca bàsica o clínica dirigits a produir nou coneixement en l'àmbit de l'atenció sociosanitària; 2. Projectes tècnics i tecnològics que aportin solucions innovadores a nivell social, assistencial, terapèutic o rehabilitador i que hagin demostrat la seva viabilitat i utilitat.

Es valorarà la qualitat científica i tècnica del projecte presentat, la innovació que introdueix, el seu impacte social i els resultats obtinguts o que s'espera obtenir per millorar la qualitat de vida dels destinataris del projecte.

FUNDACIÓN TATIANA PÉREZ DE GUZMÁN EL BUENO
Convocar 5 beques / contractes predoctorals en Neurociència per a espanyols que vagin a realitzar la seva tesi doctoral en un programa de doctorat acreditat oficialment a Espanya.
L'objectiu de les beques / contractes és la realització d'una tesi doctoral en Neurociència enfocada a la comprensió del sistema nerviós humà i de les malalties que l'afecten.

The EIPOD programme underlines EMBL’s strong commitment to promoting interdisciplinary research. The institution has a long-standing tradition of scientific excellence that builds on highly interactive research between the group leaders of different research units. EIPOD projects capitalise on synergies emerging at the borders of overlapping yet separate scientific fields, and involve transferring techniques to a novel context. THE SUSAN G. KOMEN BREAST CANCER FOUNDATION
Career Catalyst Research (CCR) Grants have fostered promising breast cancer researchers who are in the early stages of their faculty careers by providing support for up to three years of “protected time” for research career development under the guidance of a Mentor Committee. It is expected that following the successful completion of a CCR Grant, awardees will launch independent research careers, successfully compete for subsequent research project funding, and emerge as key leaders in the fight against breast cancer.

The Dementia Consortium supports collaborative target validation and drug discovery projects from academia and SMEs. We offer a unique collaborative model bringing together the charity and industry sectors to help accelerate development of therapies for novel dementia targets.
The Dementia Consortium provides drug discovery resources, project management, industry expertise and tools as well as full funding support for projects. We can support small molecule or antibody-based strategies and aim to generate tools to achieve preclinical target validation. Our ultimate goal is to progress successful projects from laboratories towards the clinic.

AVHF - ALEXANDER VON HUMBOLDT FOUNDATION
The Alexander von Humboldt Foundation’s Sofja Kovalevskaja Award is granted to young exceptionally promising researchers from abroad in recognition of outstanding academic achievements. The award is designed to enable them to embark on academic careers in Germany by establishing their own junior research groups at research institutions in Germany.
The programme is open to scientists and scholars from all countries and disciplines who completed their doctorates with distinction less than six years ago. The Alexander von Humboldt Foundation particularly welcomes applications from qualified, female junior researchers.

    La tesi doctoral consisteix en un treball original d'investigació elaborat pel doctorand o doctoranda, que capacita per al treball autònom en l'àmbit de la R + D + I.

    Els premis ESPRL seran convocats anualment per premiar les millors tesis doctorals sobre la temàtica de prevenció de riscos laborals, aprovades en els últims cinc anys (2013 a 2017) a partir de la data de la convocatòria, i que van obtenir com a nota final el "cum laude ".
