The EU Joint Programme – Neurodegenerative Disease Research (JPND) will shortly launch a multinational call for research proposals on “Mechanisms and measurement of disease progression in the early phase of neurodegenerative diseases“.

The aim of this call is to of improving the understanding of disease mechanisms and advancing measurability of disease progression at early and pre-symptomatic stages of neurodegenerative diseases. They must be hypothesis driven and should have a strong focus on methodology.

The call will follow as a two-stage procedure:

The launch of the call is scheduled in the beginning of January 2024.
The deadline for submitting the pre-proposals is schedule in March 2024.
