The Innovative Health Initiative (IHI) has published the draft topics for the next call 11, which are scheduled to open in the second quarter of 2025. As the topics are still under development, the texts may change, so applicants should consult the final texts once the calls are opened.
IHI Call 11 (two-stage)
This is a two-stage evaluation call, in which there will be a pre-defined industrial consortium in the topic that will join in the second stage the single winning consortium of the first evaluation stage (similar to IMI2 calls). The predefined industrial consortium provides the in kind/financial contribution required by the IHI calls. The topics under consideration are the following:
• Topic 1: Understanding how infections foster and induce non-communicable diseases.

• Topic 2: Towards precision medicine: platform for transdiagnostic stratification of brain dysfunction.

• Topic 3: AI-powered signal detection in pharmacovigilance.
IHI Funding: 6,4915 M€ / Industry in-kind contribution 9,344 M€.
• Topic 4: Leveraging Europe's expertise to accelerate cell therapy for type 1 diabetes.
IHI Funding: 8,825 M€ / Industry in-kind contribution 2,3 M€ / Contributing partners in-kind and financial contribution 7,34 M€.
• Topic 5: Establishing ortho and cardiology ambulatory surgical centres in Europe.
IHI Funding: 12,004 M€ / Industry in-kind contribution 12,004 M€.
