IHI publishes draft topics for Call 13

The Innovative Health Initiative (IHI) has published draft topics for its upcoming Call 13, which is expected to open in late June or early July 2026.

Call 13 will follow a two-stage evaluation process. In the first stage, applicants submit proposals as part of a consortium. The single consortium selected will then move to the second stage, where it will join a predefined industry consortium associated with the topic.

The areas currently under consideration include:

  • IHI European healthcare incubator network
  • An AI foundation toxicology model and framework to support waiving a second species in drug safety studies
  • Decode the immuno-science of age-related diseases

    • As these are still under development, their content may be subject to change. Applicants are therefore advised to consult the final topic texts once the call is officially launched.
