Horizon 2020 is the new EU funding programme for research and innovation running from 2014 to 2020. The Horizon 2020 societal challenge of ‘health, demographic change and wellbeing’ (SC1) for the years 2014 and 2015 includes 34 topics in the ‘personalising health and care’ focus area call (15 in 2014 only, 17 in 2015 only and 2 which are open in both years).
The personalising health and care call aims to create opportunities for real breakthrough research and radical innovation, by supporting the translation of findings into the clinic and other health and care settings to improve health outcomes, reduce health inequalities and to promote active and healthy ageing.

BIOCAT
L’Estratègia de Recerca i Innovació per a l’Especialització Intel·ligent de Catalunya (RIS3CAT) preveu que els àmbits sectorials definits com a líders s’articulin en comunitats que desenvolupin iniciatives que facilitin l’impuls i la col·laboració entre els agents sectorials, que millorin la competitivitat del teixit productiu i generin solucions i respostes a les noves necessitats de la societat. Aquestes comunitats, un cop acreditades per la Generalitat de Catalunya, seran els instruments a través dels quals empreses i agents del sistema R+D+i dels diferents sectors líders identificats podran obtenir ajuts del programa FEDER de Catalunya 2014-2020.
La missió d’aquesta proposta de comunitat és reforçar l’actual sistema d’innovació en l’àmbit de la salut per a desenvolupar productes i tecnologies innovadores que millorin la salut i la qualitat de vida de la població i per a desenvolupar actuacions per a millorar el seu accés al mercat. Els principals reptes de la Comunitat RIS3CAT d’Innovació en Salut són:
  • Desenvolupar productes i tecnologies més eficients i competitives
  • Millorar l’orientació i l’accés al mercat
  • Fomentar la col·laboració públic-privada
  • Incrementar la dimensió crítica de les empreses
  • Innovar en processos i tècniques productives
  • Definir i implantar nous models organitzatius de cooperació en el sector

    FUNDACIÓN MUTUA MADRILEÑA
    Mitjançant aquesta XII Convocatòria es concediran un màxim de 15 ajudes a equips d'investigadors amb reconeguda experiència, que treballin en els següents camps d'investigació:
  • Oncologia. Limitada a projectes relacionats amb leucèmies que afecten a l'àmbit infantil.
  • Trasplantament d'òrgans. Referint-nos exclusivament a trasplantament de cèl·lules mare sanguínies (medul·la òssia i cordó umbilical)
  • Traumatologia i seqüeles, tant traumatològiques com neurològiques.
  • Malalties rares. Limitada a les quals es manifesten clínicament durant la infància.
    Els projectes que es presentin a aquesta convocatòria haurien de ser exclusivament treballs d'investigació clínica
