EU-LAC Health (Defining a Roadmap for Cooperative Health research between the EU and Latin America-Caribbean countries: a Policy Oriented Approach) is a project co-funded by the EU (European Union) through the 7th Framework Programme. Its main goal is the definition of a detailed roadmap to guide policy-makers and other stakeholders on future actions to support cooperative health research between European (EU) and Latin America and Caribbean (LAC) countries.

COMISSIÓ EUROPEA
The aim of the E-Rare Joint Transnational Calls (JTCs) is to enable scientists in different countries to build an effective collaboration on a common interdisciplinary research project based on complementarities and sharing of expertise, with a clear translational research approach.

The research projects have to focus on the pre-clinical development of therapeutic approaches in suitable existing animal or cell models.

Projects shall involve a group of rare diseases or a single rare disease following the European definition i.e. a disease affecting not more than five in 10.000 persons in the European Community, EC associated states and Canada.

The research projects submitted within this call must be based on novel ideas stemming from consolidated previous results and must be clearly endowed with a strong translational research orientation, i.e. bench to bed studies allowing a rapid implementation into public health-related decisions or into the clinics.

Impulsar la recerca sobre patologies relacionades amb la ingesta del gluten. Reconeixement a les persones que treballen en la recerca d'aquestes malalties, presentant la primera edició de les Beques Celíacs de Catalunya que dotarà al millor projecte d’investigació científic basat en l’estudi de la celiaquia, la sensibilitat al gluten no celíaca o la dermatitis herpetiforme.
Aquesta beca pretén potenciar avenços científics que suposin una millora significativa de la qualitat de vida de les persones que les pateixen, reduir la tassa d’infradiagnosi, fomentar el desenvolupament del coneixement de la celiaquia i la resta de patologies associades a la ingesta de gluten, i difondre socialment la realitat d'aquestes afeccions.

The EuroNanoMed ERA-NET serves as a platform for European funding agencies and ministries, to develop joint activities and programmes in order to coordinate high quality research in Nanomedicine across national borders.
The aims of the call are:
  • To support translational research projects that combine innovative approaches in the field of Nanomedicine and;
  • To encourage and enable transnational collaboration between public and private research groups from academia, clinical/public health research or research teams from industrial enterprises (all size). The participation of Medical Doctors and SMEs will be strongly encouraged.
