ERACoSysMed is the first Systems Medicine oriented ERA-NET under Horizon 2020. The 14 participating funding bodies agreed on a joint agenda to specifically support demonstrator projects that identify areas where a systems approach addresses a clinical question and provides solution strategies to clinical problems.

The Joint Programming Initiative "A Healthy Diet for a Healthy Life" (JPI HDHL) has been established to coordinate research in the areas of food, diet, physical activity and health in order to achieve tangible societal and health impact and to strengthen European leadership and competitiveness in this field.

The call "Interrelation of the Intestinal Microbiome, Diet and Health" addresses important research questions regarding the cause-and-effect relationships between diet, the intestinal microbiome and human health. The overall aim of HDHL-INTIMIC is to build a solid knowledge base for the development of new strategies and products for health promotion and prevention of chronic diseases through diet-dependent modulation of the intestinal microbiome.

ERA-CVD is a newly established European Research Area Network (ERA-Net) comprising 23 Partners from 18 countries/regions. The goal of ERA-CVD is to create a European Research Area in which cardiovascular research is conducted and funded across countries, allowing research groups to jointly work on specific problems, exchange ideas, and benefit from cross border expertise.

Mitjançant aquesta XII Convocatòria es concediran un màxim de 15 ajudes a equips d'investigadors amb reconeguda experiència, que treballin en els següents camps d'investigació:
  • Oncologia. Específicament en càncer ginecològic (cérvix, ovaris i úter).
  • Trasplantament. Exclusivament en estratègies de millora en l'obtenció i utilització d'òrgans per a trasplantaments
  • Traumatologia i seqüeles, incloses les neurològiques derivades d'un traumatisme. .
  • Malalties rares. Limitades a les quals es manifesten en la infància.
    Els projectes que es presentin a aquesta convocatòria haurien de ser exclusivament treballs d'investigació clínica

    La Fundació Dr. Antoni Esteve convoca la quinzena edició del seu Premi de Recerca, que aquest any busca el millor treball de Farmacologia publicat per un autor espanyol en els darrers tres anys. S’atorgarà al millor treball de recerca farmacològica, en qualsevol de les seves vessants (disseny, síntesi, desenvolupament galènic, avaluació clínica o de laboratori, ús, etcètera) publicat en qualsevol revista científica durant els anys 2014, 2015 i 2016.
