    THE SUSAN G. KOMEN BREAST CANCER FOUNDATION
    Career Catalyst Research (CCR) Grants are intended to foster promising breast cancer researchers who are in the early stages of their faculty careers by providing support for up to three years of “protected time” for research career development under the guidance of a Mentor Committee. It is expected that following the successful completion of a CCR Grant, awardees will launch independent research careers, successfully compete for subsequent research project funding, and emerge as key leaders in the fight against breast cancer.

    S'acceptaran aquelles propostes en relació amb qualsevol dels següents camps d'activitat: nutrició clínica, metabolisme, epidemiologia, genètica i biologia molecular, i ciència i tecnologia dels aliments.     La Beca SEOM està dirigida a un investigador jove (fins a 12 anys des de que va completar la residència d'Oncologia Mèdica) que hagi acreditat trajectòria i motivació investigadora i que tingui iniciat un projecte de recerca, o que hagi realitzat una estada a l'estranger superior a 1 any i que vagi a incorporar-se a un lloc de treball assistencial a un centre espanyol. La beca està destinada a alliberar a l'investigador durant 2-3 dies a la setmana de la seva labor assistencial per a dedicar-se al seu projecte de recerca.
